I don't think motivation's a real thing. I don't believe in motivation as a concept. I think discipline is real, and I also think discontentment is real. And I don't think it's possible for anybody to stay in a scenario where they're truly uncomfortable ... If you sit there and your life has been in a rut for 7 years, you are semi-comfortable in that rut.

If I sit there and I complain about it, and you give me a little bit of sympathy, I feel better. You get dopamine. That's why they're complaining—for dopamine. If someone comes to me and complains about something, the best thing I can do for them... is to tell them to get fucked.

Marriage makes you a better person. Commitment makes you a better person. Being a parent makes you a better person. It changes who you are, and more importantly, it does something for somebody else that makes you worthwhile. Otherwise, what are you? At some point, there's going to be a third world war. And after World War 3, who knows what's left after World War 3? ... There's arguably this race between do we become a multi-planet species or World War 3. Which one is first? And if World War 3 is first, then maybe we never get to another planet.

Women don't even know what men find attractive. What actually amazes me is that women go through the world, and they're so concerned with how they look. They have no understanding, on a basic level, of what men find attractive in women. If I was gonna be afraid of anything on the planet, the last thing I'd be afraid of getting is cancelled. I've had people try to kill me. I have real enemies. I learned something about women... They are intrinsically, I don't want to use the word lazy, but I will. They have no interest in world conquest. They want to be comfortable. If you show a woman how to make a $1,000/hour, she'll think, 'I can work 2 hours a week.' If you show a man how to make $1,000/hour, he'll think, 'I can make $18,000/day.' We want to conquer the world. We want all of it.
