Bitcoin is really only worth what somebody else values it at. The first time you heard about Bitcoin, maybe, let's say, it was worth 10 cents or something like that or a dollar back in 2011 ... At the time, you could easily dismiss it because, well, there were very few other people who would actually pay that dollar for a bitcoin ... Now, all of a sudden, today, with the price, coming close to $20,000 as we speak, it's harder to go ahead and say that the market is wrong, that the value of Bitcoin is just inaccurate, that it's gonna go to zero. It's been 11 years now.

The nature of love is tied to karma in a very deep way. The nature of love is to understand that you are literally every other person in the world and at some point in your sort of conscious experience, you will actually be that person.

The people I know who made the real money in Bitcoin, they've all done one thing in common: They bought and they held. That's it ... What do you do after you buy Bitcoin? Go to sleep for like 5 years.

What makes another human dangerous is an active human brain. And that's your goal: In any situation where you find yourself facing grievous bodily harm, you need to shut down the brain of the other person, and that's what's going to give you true safety.

I think that one of the things with being in law enforcement is you realize the value of each day. You know that it could be your last. When you walk out those doors and you go to work, you know that you might not come home. And that's true for any public service—police, fire, medical ... I always just believe that I would live each day to the fullest.

The life expectancy of a police officer after we retire is not good because of the stress ... They say if you do 30 years, your life expectancy is 5 years. If you do 25 years, it's between 5 and 7. And if you do 20 years, it's between 5 and 10.

I have no desire to ever go back to a gym and lift weights the way I used to, pushing myself to the heaviest. Now, for me, workout is play. It's an elegant dance. When I'm doing rings, I'm doing ballet. And I've always loved the ballet, but rather than watching, I'm performing ballet purely because I exist.

I think a year from now [at the end of 2021] I think it [Bitcoin] is probably worth north of $50,000, possibly way more than that. I think, if you go out for let's call it four years from now, I think that a price somewhere between a half-million dollars and a million dollars is probably not unreasonable.

What really drives me is I think there's a perception out there that unless you have great athleticism, and you're bigger, faster, stronger, self-defense really isn't for me ... I think that's probably one of the greatest, most dangerous myths that we have out there, and it's my passion to let people know: Hey, it's not about being bigger, faster, stronger.

There were times where I remember thinking 'Look, I almost left. I came so close to leaving this planet. And it was so easy—maybe I should. This is not worth it. This is really not fucking worth it what I'm going through.' It was just so bad ... I remember thinking 'I'm a good man. I don't deserve this. I've done real good in this world, and if I left now, I leave good behind, but going through this is not worth it for me.'

With the right knowledge—and that's what most people don't have—with the right knowledge, a predator can give you opportunities, and if you know how to exploit those opportunities, it's not about being bigger, faster, and stronger.

Things like ayahuasca, I've done it dozens of times. I've done it by myself in the jungle in Guatemala at the foot of a Mayan pyramid with snakes and monkeys around me ... All sorts of crazy stuff ... I want to know what's inside me. I want to know what this whole show's about.

Everything you see, think, hear, feel, do, or say imprints in your body on a cellular level. So, be mindful of the TV you watch, of the friends you hang out with, the social media you scroll because all of that is imprinting your body, and it changes your cellular makeup. It actually changes your biology.

And the anesthesiologist came, and I remember her because she had these really cool dangling earrings, and she had these cool glasses, and she was brown. I think she was Hispanic. And I don't know why, but I had to tell her... I looked at her and grabbed her hand, and I said, 'Look, I'm scared.' And I felt this fear—I'd never felt fear like this before. It was like a pure fear. And she just held my hand. And I remember at that moment feeling fear and regret of being there alone and who I wish was there.

The most dangerous thing in a human being is an active brain, and through injury, you can take the brain out of the equation, so the person won't be able to think and move—they have to respond to the trauma that's happening to their human body.

The more somebody is trained in the judicious use of violence, the much more peaceful they are and the much more calm they are in their daily life.

Through meditation, I can sort of get a hint of that... I can start feeling how my mind is conjuring up these concepts, and these objects, and these feelings and truly see that—at least see a bit more of—how the nature of everything I experience is fundamentally created by my own consciousness.

I do often tell people who are interested in Bitcoin to go ahead and take a de minimis amount, take the amount of money that they would be comfortable spending in a weekend in Vegas or even just simply a bar tab for one night at the bar, take that and buy Bitcoin.

If you're 90 pounds soaking wet, you can put injury on any human body, and if you think about it, who wants 90 pounds dropped anywhere on a vulnerable part of their body. I don't care who you are—nobody wants that.

Going through a career in law enforcement as a woman is neither better nor worse; it's just different. We bring something different to the table, and if we learn how to really capitalize and maximize that, then it's a win.
